Wuling New Energy Company Wins Second Prize at SIAC
The “Wuling Power Direct-drive Wind Turbine Simulation Platform”, designed by the new energy subsidiary of Wuling Power, won the second prize at the National Simulation Innovation Application Competition (SIAC).
SIAC?is a national-level?competition?hosted?by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.?It is one of the highest-level technical competitions?in China for the innovation and application of simulation technology. The competition consists?of regional preliminary?and?final rounds, as well as?the national finals.?More than 5,800 teams from 729 universities and enterprises?competed in the event, such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the China Electric Power Research Institute. The new energy subsidiary of Wuling Power?attached?great importance to this competition. It?organized?a special team to prepare for the competition, carrying out several rounds of?mock presentations and simulation exercises.?Finally, the team?stood out in the national finals, winning?the second prize.
Moving forward, the company?will continue to enhance?the functions of the simulation platform, dovetailing the platform?with the actual production environment and further promoting?the construction of intelligent power?stations. Beyond that, it will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the industry?and related sectors, so as to jointly promote the development and innovation of simulation technology?in power?system.
